Welcome to Rūnweler. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using our website or mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rūnweler Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in England under Company Number 16374231, with its registered office at C/O Twm Solicitors Llp, 65 Woodbridge Road, Guildford, Surrey, England, GU1 4RD.

By downloading, accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Eligibility and Registration Guardrails

The Platform operates as a secure, local and audio-centric social network. Strict onboarding filters apply at registration to ensure community integrity:

• Onboarding Age Gate: New account registration is strictly restricted to individuals who are exactly 16 or 17 years old at the moment of signup. Anyone under 16 or over 17 is legally prohibited from creating a profile.

• Mandatory Two-Step Verification: To access the Platform, you must complete our automated identity and residency check via our verification vendor (Veriff). You must provide a valid passport to verify your age, alongside an approved supporting document (such as a UK Bank Statement, HMRC Letter, or School Enrolment Letter) to prove your home address sits within our local catchment area. Providing fraudulent identification will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

• Regulated Username System: To protect user safety and prevent offline tracking, you cannot create a custom public nickname. The Platform will automatically assign you a secure handle consisting of your first or middle name (as displayed on your passport) and a random three-digit number (e.g., Edith373 or Edward605).

2. Platform Usage, Durations and Content Limits

To prevent spam, protect mental health, and ensure effective platform administration, we enforce strict limitations on content volume and length:

• Main Content Durations: Main audio posts ("whispers") are hard-capped at a maximum length of 75 seconds. Audio reactions or replies left under other users' whispers ("feels") are hard-capped at a maximum length of 15 seconds. Any recording that exceeds these limits will be automatically stopped by the application interface.

• Daily Post Caps: The Platform incorporates a database post-limiting fail-safe. We reserve the right to enforce, adjust or activate a strict daily whisper cap per user profile at our absolute discretion to manage platform volume.

3. Asymmetric Age Brackets and Database Logic

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to our automated, three-bracket age filtering system designed to satisfy UK youth safety guidelines and prevent adults from targeting minors:

• The Brackets: Users are automatically sorted into the Teenager age bracket (Age Band "16-17"), the Young Adult age bracket (Age Bands "18-19" and "20-21"), or the Adult age bracket (Age Bands "22-23", "24-25", etc.) based on their verified date of birth.

• Privacy by Default: Whispers uploaded by users in the Teenager bracket default strictly to Teenager age bracket only. If a minor user explicitly taps on the "Public Broadcast" layout, adult users (18+) can see and listen to the whisper passively, but they remain strictly blocked from heeding the minor or leaving feels.

• The Heeding and Feels Wall: Users in the Young Adult and Adult age brackets are hard-blocked from heeding users in the Teenager age bracket, and the "Heed" button will be completely hidden. Users who are 18 years old and over are also strictly blocked from leaving feels under any whisper created by a teenager.

• The Shrouded Whisper Block: Users in the Teenager age bracket are completely barred from sharing "shrouded whispers" with any user in the Young Adult or Adult age brackets, and vice-versa. No hidden communication feature can be shared across the minor-adult boundary.

• The One-Way Birthday Freeze: On a user's 18th birthday, their account automatically updates to the Young Adult age bracket. The system applies a one-way database "freeze" to their existing connections with remaining minor users. The adult will no longer see those minor profiles in their heeding list, and is blocked from leaving feels or sharing shrouded whispers with them. The minor can still see and heed the graduate normally. This freeze automatically restores to active status when the younger user turns 18.

• Platform Operators: Official company profiles displaying the visible "Admin" label, as well as authorised external accounts displaying the "Beta Tester" or "Product Tester" label, are bound by these identical safety filters and cannot interact downward into unbroadcasted minor content.

4. Community Standards and Prohibited Content

We operate a strict, zero-tolerance policy for content that disrupts the safety, cultural integrity or visual environment of our local community.

Section 4.1: The True Look Policy

To protect our youth community from harmful physical trends and psychological body-image pressures, this Platform operates under a strict "True Look" standard:

• Prohibition of Artificial Enhancements: Users are strictly prohibited from having profile images or media assets that display obvious, visible, or prominent artificial cosmetic surgery or cosmetic enhancements. This includes, but is not limited to, noticeable dermal/lip fillers, botox alterations or visible surgical augmentations.

• Raw Media In-App Camera Only: All images used and visible within the Platform can only be captured using our live, in-app camera interface. The use of digital aesthetic editing filters or uploaded gallery images is entirely blocked by the software interface.

• Enforcement Discretion: We reserve absolute corporate discretion to evaluate profile pictures. If an image is flagged by our systems or reported by community users as violating this natural visual standard, the account will be immediately suspended.

Section 4.2: Absolute Content Restrictions

Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, recording, or sharing content (whispers or feels) that contains, references or promotes any of the following:

• Vocal Articulacy and Spoken Language: To maintain the Platform's core value of articulacy, clear vocal expression and effective manual content moderation, all audio content must be recorded in spoken English. Users are encouraged to express themselves in a clear, deliberate and grammatically correct manner. Spoken whispers or feels recorded in alternate foreign languages are prohibited and will be deleted, and repeated violations may result in account termination. (Note: This strictly excludes verified accessibility adjustments or British Sign Language).

• Respect for National and Regional Symbols: The Platform is dedicated to celebrating the history, voice, and traditions of local English communities. Any intentional acts of animosity, desecration, burning or hostile gestures directed towards the English national flag, the British Union flag, official English county flags, the Monarch or any official symbol of the Crown will result in the immediate and permanent deletion of the user's profile.

• Regional Geofenced Focus: The Platform is intentionally built to focus entirely on the documentation, celebration, and preservation of local, non-metropolitan English life, regional cultures and local traditions. The Administrator reserves the absolute right to remove content, audio streams, or profiles that promote external, global, or cross-border metropolitan cultural practices that dilute or conflict with this localised geographic editorial theme.

• Harmful Musical Genres: Any audio uploads, background tracks, ambient noise, or lyrics containing Rap or R&B music. The Platform views these specific genres as directly promoting misogyny, sexual debauchery, criminal behaviour and violence, which fundamentally violates our core community values.

• Intoxication and Drunken Behaviour: Any media capturing or displaying slurred speech from intoxication, individuals looking obviously drunk, or depictions of vomiting and excessive alcohol consumption.

• Pornographic and Explicit Content: Any overly sexual, explicit, or pornographic audio recordings, vocalisations, descriptions or visual images.

• Self-Harm and Safety Concerns: Any references, depictions, or discussions of self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.

5. Discoverability and Localised Feeds

The Platform incorporates a "Near You" discoverability section on the user homepage to help local peers connect safely. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree to its functional constraints:

• Postcode Sector Matching: This feature shuffles and partitions users strictly by matching their verified outward postcode sector (e.g., matching a resident with other public accounts within their corresponding geographic quadrant).

• No Proximity Calculations: The Platform does not compute, use or store mathematical distance coordinates or radii measurements between individual user households.

• Masked Interface: The exact proximity of all accounts rendered within this feature is permanently and completely masked under the unquantified text label "Near You".

6. Intellectual Property and Content License

• Our Content: All intellectual property rights in the Platform, its User Interface/User Experience design, software code, branding, assets as well as the Rūnweler trademark and Rūnweler Wundor Membership badge belong strictly to Rūnweler Ltd.

• Your Content: You retain ownership of the original audio clips and raw photographs you record on the Platform. However, by publishing content on the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, stream, store, display and moderate that media solely for the purpose of operating and delivering our local network services.

7. Limitation of Liability, Flagging, and Termination

• User Flagging: Users are granted the right to flag up to 3 whispers or feels per day using our in-app reporting button under our three defined categories (Artificial Appearance, Inappropriate Content, Off-Topic/Policy Violation). Flagged content is sent directly to the Administrator for manual review.

• Account Termination: We reserve the absolute right, without warning, compensation or liability, to suspend or permanently delete your account if you breach these Terms, violate our Community Standards, display an artificial profile appearance, or challenge the localised regional focus of the platform.

• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by English law, Rūnweler Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Platform. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed strictly by English law. You and Rūnweler Ltd both agree that the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
